My Story – Why I Started Love and Hugs Foundation

Hello, my name is Teresa, and I am the founder of Love and Hugs Foundation.

For as long as I can remember, I have had a deep love for children, so much that I have built along with my husband Jeff 3 ice cream trailers! Because ou know kids love ice cream, I love to see the smiles on there faces...I believe that every child deserves to feel safe, loved, valued, and protected. Every child deserves the chance to grow up in a home filled with kindness, encouragement, and hope.

As a mother, I made it my life's mission to give my own children that kind of environment. The journey was not always easy. There were struggles, sacrifices, and difficult times, but through love, determination, and faith, we made it through. Seeing my children grow into happy and healthy individuals showed me just how powerful love and support can be in a child's life.

At the same time, my heart broke for the children who do not have that same experience. There are so many children who live with abuse, neglect, abandonment, and fear. Many of them wake up each day feeling unwanted, unheard, and alone. They carry burdens that no child should ever have to bear.

I often found myself thinking about these children and wondering who was reminding them that they matter. Who was telling them they are worthy of love? Who was giving them hope for a brighter future?

The answer I found was simple: I could.

That is why I founded Love and Hugs Foundation.

I started this organization because I want children who are hurting to know that someone cares. I want them to know they are seen. I want them to know they are important, valuable, and loved. Even when life has been unfair, even when they feel forgotten, I want them to have hope.

Love and Hugs Foundation was created to be a source of comfort, encouragement, and compassion for children facing difficult circumstances. Every act of kindness, every gift, every hug, and every message of support is meant to remind a child that they are not alone.

My dream is that through this foundation, we can touch the lives of children who have lost hope and help them believe in themselves again. If we can make even one child smile, help one child feel loved, or give one child the strength to keep going, then we are making a difference.

Love and Hugs Foundation was born from a mother's heart and a simple belief: every child deserves to know they are loved.

Together, we can bring hope, healing, and brighter tomorrows to the children who need it most.
